2007 | Decision to expand Circuit Foil Asia Pacific (Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone) Ltd in China, with additional slitting and sheeting capacity to better serve Asian customers. |
2004 | Start-up of a Service Center in China : Circuit Foil Asia Pacific (Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone) Ltd. |
2002 | Circuit Foil Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited is incorporated on March 15 as the extension of the comprehensive network to ensure global availability of Circuit Foil's products. |
1998 | Circuit Foil Service SA, a sheeting and tooling service center for the PCB manufacturers, is launched as joint venture between Deglarges Industries and Circuit Foil Luxembourg. |
1996 | Circuit Foil USA is sold to Charles B. Yates, and the cross-ownership between ARBED and Furukawa is resolved. Circuit Foil Trading Inc. is incorporated with offices in Philadelphia, PA and Redmond, WA for sales, technical assistance and logistics for copper made in Luxembourg. |
1990 | ARBED, a major European steel producer with headquarters in Luxembourg, buys Yates Industries SA and Yates Industries Inc. from Square D. The companies change their name to Circuit Foil Luxembourg SA and Circuit Foil USA Inc. respectively. ARBED and Furukawa arrange a cross-ownership in the European and Japanese plants, while Circuit Foil USA is a 50/50 venture. |
1981 | Square D, a Chicago-based Group, acquires Yates Industries Inc. (USA) and Yates Instustries SA (Luxembourg) from Charles B. Yates. |
1971 | Circuit Foil SA changes its name to Yates Industries SA. |
1970 | Yates Industries and Furukawa Electric Company enter into a joint venture : Furukawa Circuit Foil is born in Japan. |
1960 | Circuit Foil SA is incorporated as a Luxembourg-based company with the major shareholders being Circuit Foil Corporation Bordentown Inc. (which becomes Yates Industries Inc. afterwards), Charles B. Yates and Graig W. Yates. |
1959 | Charles E. Yates creates Circuit Foil Corporation Bordentown Inc. in New Jersey, USA. |
